Education: MTech / PhD in Aerospace /Astronautics and Space science engineering disciplines

Experience: Minimum 15+ years prior engineering experience in a related field such as systems engineering, project/program management, payloads, spacecraft subsystems, or launch operations

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in delivering spacecraft projects with challenging technical constraints that include equipment size, weight, power, and cost considerations.
  • Work across engineering teams on mission design, schedule, and requirements, ensuring proper flow down of requirements within the internal team.
  • Experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating technical risks and develop operations plans and products for mission operations.
  • Experience in systems engineering principles, practices and standards.
  • Experience in integration, testing, validation, and acceptance activities and ability to provide clear, concise test designs and procedures.
  • Establish quality management practices and relevant documentation for spacecraft subsystems.
  • Provide mentorship to all departments at Stardour.

Education: Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and testing of avionics systems for spacecrafts.
  • Experience in developing avionics hardware including schematic and PCB layout.
  • Proficiency with circuit design,analysis tools and simulation.
  • Proficiency with programming languages, scripting tools, and automation (C/C++, Python preferred) and deployment in embedded environments.
  • Familiarity with software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and vehicle-in-the-loop tests.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience in environmental design testing, including heat, vibration, and shock.
  • Knowledge of communication system.
  • Understanding of avionics, spacecraft system regulations.

Education: Master’s degree in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the design, development, analysis, implementation, testing, and/or operation of spacecraft power systems.
  • Experience with analog and low power circuit design.
  • Knowledge of power budget evaluation and power system sizing for spacecrafts.
  • Proficiency in electronics principles and electrical systems, including power electronics, communication systems.
  • Familiarity with various spacecraft subsystems such as structures, thermal, GN&C, avionics and propulsion.
  • Knowledge of Integrating mechanical systems with electrical systems
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, actuators, motors and other control components.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, MATLAB and C++).

Education: Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience conducting structural assessments of spacecraft structures, including mass optimization, material selection, trade-off analysis, and model verification and validation using finite element method.
  • Experience performing structural and dynamic simulations, including acoustic and thermoelastic analysis.
  • Experience with spacecraft structural testing, including test procedure development, test execution, and post-test data processing.
  • Knowledge of composite materials, nonlinear materials, energy and finite element methods, fracture, and fatigue analysis.
  • Familiarity with material selection and ruggedization techniques for spacecrafts.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis of composites and nonlinear material simulation.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software(Catia) ,FEA software(Ansys) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Education: Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering/Physics with specialization in Propulsion

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in one or more relevant fields such as chemical propulsion, space electrical propulsion, plasma physics.
  • Experience in designing novel propulsion systems and performing trade studies to meet requirements for a range of spacecraft and missions.
  • Knowledge of designing, fabricating and implementing test setup for qualification testing of propulsion systems and components.
  • Knowledge of developing data acquisition and test automation software and performing data analysis.
  • Fundamental understanding of how the propulsion system interfaces to the overall space vehicle system.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software,FEA/CFD software and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Matlab and C++).

Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in design, developing and testing spacecraft mechanism and deployment systems.
  • Experience in Kinematics analysis of Mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with various spacecraft subsystems such as structures, thermal, GN&C, power, avionics and propulsion.
  • Good understanding of material applications and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of creating manufacturing and assembly plans for spacecrafts and mechanical tolerances.
  • Knowledge of Integrating mechanical systems with electrical systems

  • Experience designing and conducting software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and vehicle-in-the-loop tests.
  • Experience in selecting/development of sensor and actuators for GNC system.
  • Fundamental knowledge of attitude control and mission analysis theory and practice.v
  • Familiarity with model-based design, control theory, signal processing, filtering techniques, mathematical systems theory, or optimization.
  • Understanding of spacecraft orbit dynamics, rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Python/C++/C.

Education: Master’s degree in Aerospace/Astronautical and Space Science Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in developing comprehensive mission design and operation plans based on stakeholder requirements to assist ongoing project development.
  • Working knowledge of spacecraft development and fabrication.
  • Experience in developing, verifying, and validating spacecraft simulation models.
  • Expertise in conducting quick feasibility assessments of spacecraft missions for a variety of scenarios and architectures.
  • Knowledge of developing spacecraft mission design algorithms, analyzing spacecraft performance and understanding of commercial spacecraft operations.
  • Knowledge of orbital mechanics, numerical methods and designing spacecraft trajectories.
  • Mission design and orbit simulation experience using analysis tools (GMAT,STK) or custom software.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Matlab and C++).

Education: Master’s degree in Aerospace /Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • Experience as a systems engineer for spacecraft or Understanding of key spacecraft subsystems and their associated components and integration.
  • Experience with spacecraft operations and testing subsystems.
  • Develop mission requirements, CONOPS definitions, software requirements and other design documents in collaboration with different teams.
  • Experience in conducting system-level trade studies to assess and uphold various technological budgets for various spacecraft subsystems.
  • Experience in creating validation and verification procedures for the spacecraft's various subsystems.
  • Familiarity with system engineering tools, management tools and processes(version control, code review).
  • Fundamental understanding of designing space system, avionics concepts,GNC and flight software architectures.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Matlab and C++).

Education: Master’s degree in Thermal/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in design, analysis, development, testing and validation of thermal control systems for spacecrafts.
  • Experience with active and passive thermal management techniques on spacecrafts.
  • Familiar with orbital mechanics and attitude dynamics related to thermal analysis.
  • Familiar with spacecraft structures, space thermal materials, insulation: design, fabrication, installation, and test.
  • Working Knowledge of thermal space system design using analysis tools (NX - Simcenter / Femap: TMG solver /Ansys) or custom software and CAD software.
  • Knowledge of developing thermal acceptance test procedures on spacecraft components
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, MATLAB and C++).
